Will My Insurance Go Up?

Yes.  There is a fee to file SR-22 insurance. Your insurance rates will increase, which is a burden but it was’;t at long ago that it was almost impossible to get insurance coverage if you had a DUI conviction.  However, given the large number of DUI convictions, insurance companies realized they were missing out on an opportunity to make money so many of them carry it now.

How Long Will I have to have SR-22?

You will need to have SR-22 insurance for three years following a DUI or DUAC conviction.  This is not negotiable.
